My Opinion

I was given the opportunity to review GiftTree's Celebration Gift Set.This cookie collection came with 2 dozen cookies! 3 boxes with 8 cookies in each. The varieties were: Chocolate Chip, Snickdoodle, and Peanut Butter. And I am going to be on a sugar high soon because I just tried all of them!

Before I get on with the taste test, I want to say I loved the packaging of the cookies. They were in adorable boxes and tightly tied with a silky ribbon. These boxes can actually be re-used for another gift :) Each cookie was individually wrapped which is great for freshness.


Now, onto the taste test! The first one I tried was the Chocolate Chip. I usually like chocolate chip cookies, and this was no exception. The chocolate chunks were really chunky. I was very happy to see that they weren't hard cookies. They were soft and chewy.

The next one I tried was the Snickerdoodle. I gotta say, I've never had a Snickerdoodle cookie before so had no idea what to expect. I smelled it first and noticed it smelled like cinnamon, which I like. I took a bite and again, this cookie was soft and chewy. I really liked this one! It was a perfect balance of cinnamon and I'm guessing, sugar. Whatever it was, it was tasty!

The last one I tried was the Peanut Butter. I'm not a big fan of peanut butter anything, but I had to try it anyway. Like the other two, it was soft. I gotta admit, it wasn't that bad. I noticed there were pieces of real peanuts in it, so that was a nice addition. I let my fiance try a piece, and he LOVED it! He said I better write, "I give it a 5 out of 5!" So there you go, straight from his mouth.

Out of the three, I'd have to say my favorite was the Snickerdoodle. But they were all very good, and I have to agree with my fiance, "5 out of 5!"
